We are pleased to introduce our latest Herdsire, Blackhawk. He is different from every other Hampshire boar in the country in terms of pedigree and confirmation. He is sired by the direct old line 100% Newlin boar Vaun that Tom Bierman owns, and his dam is old line Earnhart breeding with dam's sire being Southern Style (Strike) and bottom side of pedigree is Baditude x The Ritz. He is an outcross to every popular line in the country. But even more importantly, he has the look and power of the contempary hogs. He is jet level in his design and exceptionally sound on all four.He is expansive and bold in his ribcage and forerib, and good in his bone and foot size. These pictures represent him as he is,unclipped and without a fit job. He will open hogs up underneath, add more body,appetite, a wide, square, thick top, and a deep, full hip and hind end. We are excited about his future of making better Hampshire hogs. |
